McClenghan out of second ODI with eye injury

McClenaghan will miss New Zealand's second one-day
international with Pakistan after suffering a hairline
fracture above his left eye.

McClenaghan was forced to retire hurt during
Monday's opening match of the series when a bouncer
burst through the gap in his helmet in the final over.
That saw him leave the pitch having scored 31 off 18
balls, the 29-year-old unable to bowl for Kane
Williamson's side in their 70-run win.
The fast bowler posted a picture of his injured eye on
Twitter after receiving treatment in hospital as the
Black Caps took a 1-0 lead in three-game series.
"Thanks for all the concerns," he tweeted. "Everything
is as good as it can be just a few broken bones. Great
win for the boys!"
McClenaghan's efforts with the bat helped New
Zealand score 71 runs in their final five overs.
