Rahma Haruna Girl Without Limbs Receives Help From Kano State Government

limbless of 19 Year Old At Lahadin Makole in
Dawakin Kudu LG while the State Government
through the Ministry of Women Affairs and
Social Development Empowers her With Food
Stuffs, 29/1/2016.

While presenting the donation of empowerment
items to the family, the Commissioner of
Women Affairs, Barr. Zubaida Damakka said the
state government is touched by the condition of
the girl stressing that the government would do
all it could to see that Rahma does not feel
forsaken.
Items donated to the girl’s mother to start a
business include 10 cartons of noodles, 2 bags
of detergent, 10 cartons of biscuits, 2 bags of
semovita, a bag of rice, a sack of soya bean, 2
gallons of cooking oil 25 liters each and the
sum of twenty thousand naira.

up to the value of the wheel chair that a
concerned Nigerian gave to her, and still didn’t
make noise about it,but see how they are taking
pictures as if they have broken another
Guinness world record by donating indomie that
is nearly expired and rice which Lassa fever

The problem is not only Rahama, there are
plenty of them only that a good Samaritan
brought her plight to the public. Govt. Should
look for these kind of people with disabilities
with the view of assisting them. They are

Aishat thank you very much, but this gesture
looks more like stomach infrasture to me than
empowerment. All I see here is not more than
what the family can consume in 2 months.
Governments should be more ingenious than
this. A pepper grinding machine can generate
income for the family than this stuffs. –

Honestly kano state government is a
monumental joke. How do you give a limbless
child cartons of indomie and vegetable oil and
call that a respite? How long will the food stuff
last poor Rahma? The poor girl needs a life
changing environment and not these food
items.
