Chelsea agree deal for Marcelo Brozovic with Inter Milan
Inter Milan have accepted an offer from Chelsea for Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, Goal.com reports.
However, the London team are yet to agree personal terms with the player.
According to sources close to Inter, it is “extremely likely” that an agreement between the player and Chelsea will be resolved before the transfer window closes on August 31, with talks on-going.
It was gathered that Brozovic wants a substantial pay rise as part of the deal to move to London and has made his intention clear to both Inter and Chelsea.

The sources also disclosed that Chelsea will not offer any players in part exchange for the 23-year-old despite reports linking Cesc Fabregas as part of the deal.
Fabregas whose long-term future at Stamford Bridge is in doubt, had been linked with a potential move to San Siro.
But the Spaniard who was an unused substitute during Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Burnley has said he is not moving to another club, while denying there is a rift with manager Antonio Conte.
Fabregas has made one start this season against Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup and was not included in Spain’s squad for their forthcoming World Cup 2018 qualifiers against Belgium and Liechtenstein.
Brozovic, who has also attracted interest from other Premier League clubs, arrived at the Nerazzurri from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2015. The midfielder has scored eight goals in 51 games.
Having made his debut in 2014, the Zagreb native has made 20 appearances for the Croatian national team, representing his country at the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016.
Chelsea still intend to land several more signings before the transfer window closes. They have already signed N’Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi this summer.
