Man who killed child’s grandfather in North Carolina leaves suicide note on Facebook

Early Sunday, deputies with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office received a domestic call at 6617 Wake Forest Road in the College Downs subdivision in northern Fayetteville. The caller told dispatch someone had just been shot.

At the scene, deputies learned the suspect, 32-year-old Anthony Curtis Macneill, shot and killed Eugene Racine. According to a release, Macneill is the father of Racine’s grandchild.

Macneill revealed he has killed someone on Facebook and has continued to update his friends on his moves. He posted on his Facebook page multiple times while police searched. He told his followers he was leaving North Carolina, and threatened suicide.
