Faulty Foundation (part 1)

TOPIC: FAULTY FOUNDATION (PART 1)
AUTHOR: BRO.LARRY M. ESEME

In a nut shell we will be looking intently on the world FAULTY and FOUNDATION.
Naturally there are things we see day in day out that have the ability to help and change our life, business, marriage, ideals etc. still we overlook them, giving little or no attention. Believers today are too much in a hurry about the cares of life forgetting the ambiguousness of foundation.

Now let’s consider the above words
DEFFINITIONS: FAULTY simply mean the appearance of not been adequate. FOUNDATIONS mean the basis on which a thing is formed or laid.

Ask any one old and young, they will tell you that they want to be the martin Luther, arch bishop Benson Idahosa, Rev. Mike Oyemiren of their generation even without a foundation that will never work. The Bible in Luke 6:49 says “But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.

Let’s look at the  BIBLICAL FOUNDATION OF JESUS CHILDHOOD.

He was a child : there is a pronounce fault with this generation “ no child wants to be a child ‘’
We are now leaving in a world where everyone wants to be a master without  learning, we want short road skipping its experience, and we want to be followed but never want to follow.

The bible in Mathew 10:24-25 Say's "A student is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for the student to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master.

One of the striking errors in the church today is that some of the leaders now were never a follower, the church is now a center of mans decision without the holy ghost, people occupy positions not because God want them to be there, but because they are friend of friends.

Who is a child?

A child is an infant who is not yet of age (mature). He is a learner, starter and beginner. For that reason he must be teachable, so number one solid foundation to the top is being TEACHABLE. The Bible says in Luke 2:46-47 "After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions".

From the above text we can see the three strength of a learner, who want to stand on a solid foundation.
